Designation: Treasure No. 983
Location: In Chiljangsa temple
Period: Koryo Dynasty

The statue was relocated from Chuksan Middle School to the Chiljangsa temple. The same stone material is used for both statue and halo. The big Yookgye is placed on top of the white hair. The eyes, nose and mouth are heavily abraded, so the overall facial expression can hardly be seen. Both ears are long, dropping nearly to the shoulder, creating a dignity when mixed with neck's Samdo.
The monk's robe naturally flows down with circular shaped folds, and a skirt is formed in a zigzag pattern below the robe.
The right hand is placed at the breast with the palm attached to it, and the left hand is holding down the robe's edge.
